Leadership as a group came up with the idea of Dress up week. The goal of this week was to increase school spirit and culture through appearance. Each day of the week had a different theme.
-Monday
Western Day
The idea was to look like a cowboy. Many people wore plaid shirts and jeans, paired with jeans.
-Tuesday
Tie-Dye Day
Everyone wore colourful tie-dye apparel. Types of clothes included tops, bottoms, and accessories.
-Wednesday
Character Day
Dress up as your favourite movie, book, comic, or meme character. Some people even dressed up as the Sty Guys.
-Thursday
Wolverine Wear Day
Houston Secondary School's colours are green and black. Students can also wear the HSS wolverine merchandise.
-Friday
Pyjama day
The last day of the week was Pyjama. Many students wore sweat or cotton pants.
On March 11th, the traditional Pi day took place. Events planned for Pi Day included Pi digit memorization contests and Pi trivia. Slices of pie were also given out. The winner of the Pi digit memorization contest memorized a total of 121 digits!
