I first started off just shadowing Dr. Kim. I did this twice a week during the previous summer. Eventually he thought that I was ready and asked if I wanted to work for a little bit. The majority of my shifts were after school and I only worked for about one hour or two. The main responsibilities of a delta assistant consisted of handing chemicals and tools to the dentist during procedures. It was interesting to learn the terminology and the level of detail when it comes to working in dentistry.
